Formwork

VolkerBrooks design and manufacture timber formwork to each client's specific requirements on both a sale and hire basis.

We also operate one of the largest hire fleets of RMD formwork equipment and accessories in the north of England.

The production of curved formwork is our speciality and we have many years of experience in the production of complicated geometric shapes that give a precise representation of our client's requirements.

We work closely with all our clients to ensure that a cost-effective design is produced that gives maximum speed of fixing and stripping whilst also achieving an efficient level of re-use.

When a formwork scheme has been designed and manufactured by VolkerBrooks you won't need to worry about making shutters up from components on site. The scheme will arrive pre-assembled as road transportable panels and will be ready to bolt together and erect as soon as it is delivered.

All of our schemes can be provided with pre-assembled access platforms fixed at the top and at intermediate levels.

We have extensive experience of producing special timber structures such as footbridges and jetties.

All of our work is undertaken in a fully equipped manufacturing facility by highly skilled and experienced craftsmen and is recognised in the industry as being of the highest standard.

Sustainable Timber

As a major supplier within the industry we believe that the way we conduct our business can make a real difference to protecting the environment. To this end we have made a commitment to source all the timber we use in our business, and sell on to our clients, from legal, sustainable, well managed forests or mills.

Our procurement policy and procedures for timber have been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes (PEFC).  We have full chain of custody certification.
