Anchorsholme Phase 2

United Utilities appointed C2V+, a VolkerStevin and Jacobs joint venture, as one of four Construction Delivery Partners for the £250m AMP6 framework. AMP6, a design and construct framework, covers the full spectrum of works for both water and wastewater across the North West of England.

VolkerSite Services provided 29no. CTX modular units to create office space at Anchorsholme, accommodating up to 30 staff members. A welfare facility was also created from the modular units, with the capacity to accommodate up to 60 people.

Due to the available space on site, the cabin setup was split into two separate blocks, a main office block and a welfare block.

Within the main office block the site team created a public liaison centre, to allow the general public to visit and ask any questions regarding the works. The main office block also provided staff with various facilities such as; meeting rooms, an open plan office space, individual offices, a large canteen/break out area, as well as toilet and shower facilities.

The welfare block for operatives was situated 50m away from the main office block. The facilities in the welfare block included; large lockers, a drying room, mess area, toilet and shower facilities and a gangers office for private working.
